In between the day-to-day tasks of finding unicorn candidates for amazing jobs at incredible businesses that we’re lucky enough to work with, there’s been many conversations in the office where some of these questions have come up and we want to share them with you!
The team that you work with are the foundations of a business and it can be what makes a business, great! So we believe that it’s important to get to know your co-workers, and now you can get to know them too.
We asked the team some questions and here are their answers:

Billy: Love the team, everyone is hardworking but so nice, funny and sociable at the same time. I also love our flexible working policy and our celebrations as a team!
Paul: The way we partner with customers externally and support one another internally
Danielle: Change! My role has changed a fair amount over the years that I’ve worked at MKJ and the support I get along the way to be able to adapt and grow.
Chris: Flexibility, Collaboration, and the diversity of recruitment in Food/Drink sector
Harriet: The people – especially Maurice’s wicked Irish humour. A lot of us have worked together for several years so a family feel.
Maurice: There is a wealth of recruitment knowledge and experience within the business that you can learn from, the team is diligent and hardworking, and we all have a good sense of humour.
Suzanne: I think the flexibility and trust but also the growth mindset of everyone in the team. Everyone is overachieving but everyone is still so keen to learn and be better and very supportive of each other’s goals.
How long have you worked at MKJ?
Billy: 1.5 years now 😊
Paul: From its birth, 18 years ago!

Billy: Woody from Toy Story, obvs. He’s just the coolest bloke ever!
Paul: DR Who – I would love to own a Tardis and travel back in time.
