Their range of soft drinks includes a line-up of some iconic brands, including Lucozade Energy, Lucozade Sport, Ribena and Orangina. A core value is embracing a “Yatte Minahare “spirit which roughly translates from Japanese as “Go For It “.
In 2022, Suntory tasked Deloitte with designing a new organisational structure to further enable ambitious growth plans. Mackenzie Jones was selected to be a strategic partner across Marketing, Commercial, Category, NRM and IT to support this programme.
Challenges
Suntory has a culture that actively supports development and growth. The total rewards package includes extensive learning, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits. This was not being communicated effectively and hence Suntory was underplaying the power of its EVP. The team from Mackenzie Jones worked with a number of key stakeholders from Suntory to help build a candidate pack that amplified their progressive culture.
Outcome
Through our immersion in 2023 with all key stakeholders, we now effectively operate as an extension and an ambassador of the Suntory business. With regular connections with the Talent Acquisitions Manager, Hiring managers and their teams alongside quarterly reviews, we partner with agility and connectivity. As a result, we have successfully placed multiple high performing candidates across the business.
